Built in 1920, it is a Spanish style garden residence covering an area of 380 m2.It has a two-storey brick-wood structure and a gentle-slope red plain imbrex roof. The main façade has triplet type steel windows, between which are pilasters with rolling rope patterns. The ground floor has a triplet type arched colonnade. There is a small circular balcony on the southwest corner of the second floor, with Spanish style cambered cast iron railings. The main entrance is a simple arched door, with a red imbrex canopy. There are totally 7 Spanish style garden residences in Lane 249, well arranged as a whole.It is now a civilian residence. On April 27, 2017, it was designated as a Cultural Relic Protection Site in Xuhui District by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Xuhui District, Shanghai.
