Built in 1927, it is a simple Mediterranean style residence covering an area of 412 m2.It has a two-storey brick-wood structure. There are outdoor stairways leading into the building on both south and north sides; the northeastern stairway leads to the main entrance on the second floor, and the two-way stairway on the south leads to the platform on the second floor; there is a hall under the platform, with three arch doors as the exit. The main body of the building adopts a gable roof, beneath the eaves of which double arched tooth-shaped moldings are decorated; the roof chimney is reserved. There were originally a star-like pediment constituted by small transoms on the gable; now the pattern is preserved, but the transoms have been transformed to small relievos. The window sills on the southeast and southwest corners have twisted-rope corner posts, which is quite unique. The large fireplace flues on the east and west sides are still preserved, but the fireplaces inside the building have already been removed. After the founding of new China, it was used by the municipal construction committee. It is now the activity room for veteran cadres of Shanghai Metropolitan Transportation Authority. On April 27, 2017, it was designated as a Cultural Relic Protection Site in Xuhui District by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Xuhui District, Shanghai.
