Built in 1941, it is a detached garden residence of the modern times with a floorage of about 800 m2.The building has a three-storey brick-concrete structure; the southeast corner of the ground floor is built on stilts, supported with square columns, with corner windows above. The northern entrance has a projecting awning; granite is covered on both sides of the entrance, and the rest part is painted with yellow cement. The gray window frames are slightly projecting, and the windows are partitioned with red and white bamboo-shaped columns.Tang Enbo once lived here before 1949. Tang Enbo (1900~1954), born in Wuyi, Zhejiang, graduated from the Imperial Japanese Army Academy. He served as Deputy Commander of No. 1 War Zone during Anti-Japanese War, Commander-in-Chief of the Army in 1946, and Commander-in-Chief of Beijing-Shanghai-Hangzhou Garrison Headquarters in 1949.It is now a civilian residence. On December 31, 2015, it was designated as a Cultural Relic Protection Site in Xuhui District by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Xuhui District, Shanghai.
